Movable Alphabet Pattern

Over the years I have needed movable alphabets, and didn't have the money to order a full set.  I used to get the plastic ones from Primary Concepts, but they stopped carrying the blue vowel variety.  This has been a good alternative.

These are the steps:

  • Print off 9 of pages 1-2 and 3 of page 3.  I like to use a see-through vellum paper (if you ask for it at the copy center they will know what you are talking about), so that the next steps become easier.
  • Cut out printed off letters
  • Purchase Adhesive Felt Sheets and adhere cut out letters to the back, backwards (this is were the sheets being made of vellum works out well)
  • Cut out letters from the felt, leaving the vellum on the back
This is a time consuming project, but these letters have withstood the test of years.

    1. When I went in under a couple of different servers the first two pages didn't show up either, but when I downloaded they were there. Let me know what you find.
